Silent Place was born, above all, as a retreat house — ideal for those who wish to rent a space dedicated to holding Christian retreats, moments of prayer, reflection, communion, and spiritual rest.
Beyond retreats, Christian life is made up of activities of the most diverse kinds, which can be promoted by churches as well as by Christian groups: work meetings, leadership and worship-team trainings, themed seminars, couples' retreats, family gatherings, weddings, baptisms, among other events.
Silent Place offers a welcoming environment, prepared to host these activities with tranquility, privacy, and contact with nature.
Amid one hectare of beautiful gardens, fields, fruit trees, old wells, and paths, Quinta da Gravata features a chapel, a reading room surrounded by gardens, and a main house made up of eleven bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining hall for up to 24 people, and various areas for socializing, leisure, and rest. Silent Place goes beyond a spiritual retreat. Our space can also be the ideal setting to bring to life what you are looking for:
We open our space for diverse groups and events such as corporate meetings, small team-building groups, themed seminars, book launches, photoshoots, gatherings, baptisms, among others. We personalize our space for you. Groups can rent the venue and benefit from a setup designed to foster tranquility, togetherness, and listening.
Silent Place has a central location, just 19 minutes from Lisbon airport and from the center of Cascais. We have 11 double bedrooms, with a total capacity for 22 people, as well as a living room, a reading room, a chapel, a dining room prepared to comfortably accommodate all participants, and a large and beautiful garden.
